If you have ever been to a wedding, then you know how stressful it can be for the wedding planner. There are so many tasks that need to be completed and there is always something that goes wrong. In this blog post, we will go over 10 funny stories from Imtazur Rahman’s time as a wedding planner. From unexpected guests showing up late, to people forgetting where they parked their car at the ceremony- these stories will leave you laughing!

-One wedding party left their car keys with someone else during prepping for photos and then forgot where they parked when returning back after being photographed. This caused an unfortunate delay while guests waited for them to be found again! They eventually got lucky as parking attendants pointed out where their car was located.

-Guests went into the wrong church due to getting mixed signals about meeting locations. One guest even checked the wrong church on their phone map!

-The mother of the bride’s cake was accidentally delivered to a different location. Me, as a wedding planner, had to scramble and find someone who could deliver it before she left for her honeymoon.

- A new groom wearing his brand new shoes got them all dirty when he stepped in gum as he walked down the aisle with his soon to be wife. It caused some laughs but not many because everyone knows how expensive good dress shoes can cost these days!

-A bride and groom’s wedding cake was delivered with the wrong inscription. It read “Happy Birthday”. Luckily, I was able to fix this issue quickly.

-A bride’s dress ripped when she was walking down the aisle. It took a lot of sewing to repair it, but luckily I can sew really well!

Tips for wedding planners:

-Always have extra shoes on hand just in case an elegant pair gets dirty before you make it all the way up the aisle. Planning ahead is your best friend and creates less stress for everyone involved. If someone needs help with their shoes during the ceremony or reception, give them yours so that no one has any issues with footwear on their special day!

-If you are listening to music while working early in morning hours around venues like churches, always keep earplugs handy if there will be loud sound coming from other sources such as the organ or a choir. Your hearing will thank you later!

-Always make sure the bride has made it to the wedding location before beginning to set up and decorate. If there is no one to greet her, follow your gut feeling that something isn’t right/okay because she may be lost or in need of help.”

The best things about being a wedding planner are creating memories for couples with their loved ones and making them feel special on their day. I can’t say enough how much fun it is to see everyone enjoying themselves so much they forget about everything else going on around them but each other!”

In conclusion, working as a wedding planner has been an unforgettable experience full of laughter and tears mixed together that made me grow both professionally and personally. I am immensely proud of my work there and will always remember what it felt like every time I see the bride and groom happy and enjoying their special day.
